Job summary

Otis Elevator Co. is seeking an ITGC Testing Analyst in Bengaluru. You will work within the DT Controls and Site Audit COE to perform IT general controls testing across global applications and infrastructure.

You will document findings, collaborate with stakeholders to create remediation plans, and contribute to continuous process improvements in IT controls and governance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in ITGC control testing.
• Knowledge of IT governance, cyber and information security risks.
• Understanding IT compliance standards and SOX requirements.
• Experience with ITGC control reviews and walkthroughs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Job Title: ITGC Testing Analyst

Role Overview

The DT Controls and Site Audit team is developing an ITGC Testing Center of Excellence (COE) for testing Otis’ DT Controls across the global Otis organization. Multiple ITGC Testing Specialists will become part of this COE.

On a Typical Day You Will:

Roles and responsibilities for ITGC Testing Specialists that will work for this team include, but are not limited to:

• Conduct IT General Controls (ITGC) compliance testing across global and local applications and respective supporting infrastructure and technologies.
• Identify and document any control deficiencies.
• Completely and accurately document testing completed and upload evidence to required tracking system(s).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to Ensure data samples provided are complete and accurate.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to Build corrective action plans and perform root cause analysis to address identified gaps and to mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to Develop remediation plans for controls that fail testing.
• Build strong relationships with application & infrastructure owners, as well as technology subject matter experts.
• Become a subject matter expert in the testing COE.
• Provide weekly status on progress of testing activities, issues identified, challenges.
• Collaborate with DT Controller to continuously improve processes and procedures.

What you will need to be successfull:

• Overall 3+ years of experience in ITGC control testing.

• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of the following: Information technology, systems, data governance, cyber and / or information security risks as well as industry trends

• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of the following: IT compliance, standards, and framework

• Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) compliance requirements

• ITGC controls processes and methodologies

• ITAC controls processes and methodologies

• Experience conducting ITGC control reviews.

• Experience conducting Walkthroughs and documents.

• Good presentation, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages, including Microsoft Office applications AND compliance tools such as Archer, Alyne, Audit Board, Blackline etc.

• Ability to work independently.

• Ability to understand IT Application complex environment.

• Good teamwork and collaboration skills

• Applicable professional certifications (e.g., ISO 27001 LA, CISM, CISA, GSNA, CISSP, CRISC, CIA).
