  • 15–18 years of professional experience, including 5–7 years in drive systems.
  • Proven track record in business development, strategic sales, and revenue growth.
  • Strong solution and application expertise with demonstrated sales success.
  • Fluency in native language and strong command of English (written and spoken).
  • Engage and earn the confidence of senior-level stakeholders in a matrixed organization.

Regional BU (Business Unit) Lead – Intelligent Devices Business – Region North

Gurgaon / Noida - India

Responsibilities

The Regional BU (Business Unit) Lead for Rockwell Automation\'s Intelligent Devices (ITD) serves as a business leader, responsible for driving growth and market penetration across a portfolio that includes Drives, Low Voltage Motor Control Centers, Motion & Servo Systems, Distributed and On-Machine I/O, Safety, and Industrial Components. This role compelling, C-level messaging that articulates the value and differentiation of Rockwell\'s intelligent device offerings. The Business Unit Lead is accountable for maximizing sales performance within the assigned geography.

The \"Regional BU Lead\" will improve pursuits by creating winning specifications, guiding on proposal, pricing and execution strategies, interface with Global Product Business Units, advise on marketing activities, and be a trusted advisor to Customers.

You will work in the team with Product BU Leads, Technical Consultants, Solution Consultants and other Regional BU Leads to create a winning proposition for Rockwell Automation. You will report to Intelligent Devices Business Leader India and have a hybrid schedule working in Gurgaon, India

  • Promote strategy and sales growth for the Intelligent Devices portfolio, ensuring business insights and alignment across all levels
  • Achieve Annual Operating Plan (AOP) order and sales targets for assigned products, with a focus on increasing LV Drives penetration across strategic accounts and verticals
  • Interface directly with customers including C-level stakeholders, delivering compelling, messages that position Rockwell Automation as a strategic partner.
  • Strengthen regional sales competency, proactively close identified skill gaps, and enable System Integrators and Distributors to articulate product value
  • Plan and execute commercial programs, lead product launches, and support marketing activities including trade shows and seminars
  • Analyze competitive landscapes, define product differentiators, and provide feedback to global business units for portfolio refinement
  • Act as the regional subject matter expert for Drives, engaging with OEMs, EPCs, consultants, and end-users to position solutions effectively
  • Ensure alignment of goals, objectives, and activities with company priorities and evolving market requirements.
  • Understand customer business models, KPIs, and go-to-market strategies, applying outcome-based selling approaches where relevant
  • Maintain accurate CRM and sales data to optimize business activities and ensure consistent use of tools
