Position Overview
IT Test Specialist II within our Testing Centre of Excellence responsible for testing systems and solutions across LIMS, Planning & Ecosystems, ensuring digital infrastructure supports seamless operations and safeguards quality and reliability of PEMS solution.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, author, and execute test cases for system enhancements, upgrades, and releases; prepare test plans, test procedures, traceability matrices, and test summary reports.
- Perform SIT, regression, disaster recovery, and OV validation testing.
- Manage defects through identification, reporting, tracking, and closure.
- Collaborate with developers, business stakeholders, and system managers to ensure requirements are fully validated.
- Support compliance and validation activities to maintain system integrity and regulatory expectations.
- Support feature development, system enhancements, and proof‑of‑concept activities for applications interfacing with PEMS.
- Contribute to test automation initiatives using Leapwork, identifying opportunities to automate repetitive testing and business processes, and expanding automation coverage.
Department and Team
Based in India, the team works in a collaborative and innovative environment, aligning with Novo Nordisk's Quality Management System and approved tools, and driving impact across the full Novo Nordisk value chain.
Skills & Qualifications
- 8-10+ years of IT experience, including 8+ years of hands‑on experience in manual and automation testing (using Leapwork).
- Good to have: 5+ years of experience in Computer System Validation (CSV) focusing on acceptance verification activities, including support for GxP systems such as Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) – preferably LabVantage LV – in the pharmaceutical domain.
- Strong ability to manage end‑to‑end testing activities, create comprehensive test documentation, track defects, and report project status to stakeholders.
- Experience with test management tools like HP ALM or Azure DevOps, and proficiency with both waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- A Master's or Graduate degree in a relevant field (Software Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Business Administration).
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken) and proven ability to manage stakeholder expectations across diverse groups and cultural backgrounds.
- Strong ownership, resourcefulness, and flexibility to manage multiple concurrent tasks while coaching and mentoring team members.
