Eurofins IT Solutions India Pvt Ltd (EITSI) is a fully owned subsidiary functioning as a Global Software Delivery Center serving Eurofins Global IT business needs. The code shipped out of EITSI impacts the global network of Eurofins labs and services.

The primary focus at EITSI is to develop the next generation LIMS (Lab Information Management System), customer portals, e-commerce solutions, ERP/CRM systems, mobile apps and other B2B platforms for various Eurofins Laboratories and businesses.

Senior Software Engineer — Eurofins IT Solutions, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India

With 54 facilities worldwide, Eurofins BioPharma Product Testing (BPT) is the largest network of bio/pharmaceutical GMP product testing laboratories providing comprehensive services for the world\'s largest pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical and medical device companies. BPT is enabled by global engineering teams working on next-generation applications and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be a crucial part of our delivery team, ensuring the Eurofins Electronic Notebook application’s maintenance (part of BPT’s application labsuite) with quick turnaround time to support production feedback and reduce business impact from application-related requests and issues. You will have opportunities to demonstrate ingenuity, focus, attention to detail and collaboration with a global team of professionals. This role reports to a Deputy Manager.

Experience and Qualifications

• 1 to 4 years of experience developing end-to-end web applications using the Microsoft stack.
• Web application development using .NET Core (6/7/8), C#, ASP.NET Core, MVC, WebAPI; Postman experience.
• Angular 7 or above, JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery, HTML5 and CSS3.
• Cosmos DB, Elasticsearch, Redis, Azure Functions, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Event Driven Architecture, Domain Driven Architecture, Microservices, MSSQL – SQL, etc.
• Experience with Azure DevOps.
• UI testing and unit testing (MS Test, Jasmine, MOQ, NUnit, Karma, etc.).
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP); ability to solve technical problems.
• Experience with code reviews (raising reviews, resolving comments, closing reviews) and knowledge of programming best practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex, performance-related issues and write efficient code and queries.
• Experience guiding junior team members and grooming them is a plus.
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, etc.).
• Experience on at least one SOA project and working in an AGILE practice (SCRUM preferred).

Responsibilities

• Implement customer feedback through changes and enhancements.
• Understand requirements, design and build solutions.
• Advanced troubleshooting and issue resolution; investigate and resolve complex issues or escalate as needed.
• Analyze logs, application behavior and system performance to identify root causes.
• Handle incidents involving application crashes, data inconsistencies or integration failures.
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and permanent fixes; collaborate on long-term improvements.
• Application monitoring and performance tuning using tools (e.g., App Insights, Grafana, Kibana) to proactively detect anomalies.
• Optimize deployment, performance, scalability and support production deployments, hotfixes and rollback procedures; validate post-deployment stability.
• Compliance and validation to ensure support activities align with GxP and regulatory requirements; maintain audit trails and documentation for changes and incidents.
• Collaborate with DevOps, QA and product teams; communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Groom and mentor junior members toward higher levels of capability and product improvement.
• Knowledge management: document solutions, workarounds and known issues; provide guidance and training to L1/L2 teams.
