Job summary

Cummins is seeking an IT Technical Analyst – Blue Yonder WMS to drive functional excellence across warehouse operations. You will configure BY WMS capabilities, support day-to-day system needs, and ensure process alignment with business requirements.

This role bridges operations, IT development teams, and business stakeholders to deliver stable, scalable solutions. The candidate will partner with warehouse operations, perform system configuration, conduct root-cause analysis, and support testing

Qualifications

• Strong functional knowledge of warehouse operations and BY WMS modules (Receiving, Inventory, Picking, Shipping).
• Ability to interpret MOCA logs and troubleshoot functional issues.
• Experience with SQL queries for data validation.
• Excellent communication skills to interface with crossfunctional teams and business users.

Responsibilities

• Partner with warehouse operations to understand process needs and translate them into BY WMS functional requirements.
• Perform system configuration (locations, picking strategies, rules, work templates, allocation methods, user roles).
• Conduct root-cause analysis for production issues and collaborate with technical teams for permanent fixes.
• Support SIT/UAT testing, validate end-to-end flows, and ensure data accuracy across integrated systems.
• Maintain functional documentation, workflow diagrams, SOPs, and configuration logs.
• Manage enhancement requests, prioritize functional backlog, and coordinate deployment with project teams.
• Monitor system integrations and coordinate with ERP/TMS specialists for data alignment.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, change management processes, and audit/regulatory expectations.
