The MES IT Specialist is a recognised subject matter expert within Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), responsible for leading the design, implementation, validation, and continuous improvement of digital manufacturing solutions in regulated pharmaceutical environments. The role combines deep technical expertise with strategic leadership, ensuring MES solutions are compliant, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.
The specialist works closely with Process Engineers, QA, Production, Automation, and IT/OT teams to translate manufacturing requirements into robust MES solutions, leveraging platforms such as PAS-X and other industry-standard MES technologies. In addition to driving technical excellence, the role provides mentoring, governance, and thought leadership to strengthen organisational capabilities and delivery quality across projects.
