Job summary

Nokia is seeking a senior SAP expert in Bengaluru to design, configure and implement SAP SD/WM solutions and to maintain ERP applications. You will lead implementation activities, validate requirements, and act as a functional SME across SD, WM and EWM with end-to-end delivery.

Responsibilities include coordinating testing, developing specs, collaborating with IT and business stakeholders, and driving process optimization and change management in a global environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field with minimum of 10 years of SAP SD and WM related implementation experience working in big and complex transformations with at least 2 full life cycle implementations.
• Experience in designing and configuring SAP SD/WM and corresponding SAP certifications and EWM is a plus.
• Deep knowledge of SAP Sales and Distribution.
• Deep knowledge of SAP WM Put away/Picking strategies, Automatic TO creation, Inventory Cycle count, HUM and Serial management
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA
• Ability to develop sustainable relationships with key senior business stakeholders
• Ability to network within the IT and business environment
• International team Management

Responsibilities

• Design, configure and implement SAP WM/SD solutions and maintain enabling ERP applications.
• Participate in warehouse management implementation activities and liaise with business process owners to validate requirements and best practices.
• Lead user sessions for requirements, analysis, documentation, configuration, testing and UAT.
• Serve as functional SME for SAP SD/WM/EWM with end-to-end processes and integrations to FI, MM, CS.
• Develop functional specs for reports, interfaces, and WM configurations.
• Coordinate changes and unit/regression testing with integration partners.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on business needs and long-term plans for integration with strategy.
• Develop test scenarios, perform unit testing, and coordinate user acceptance testing.
• Create work instructions and job aids for end users.
• Map processes, reengineer, identify gaps and opportunities to streamline.
• Assist with solution strategies and deliver business/technical solutions.
• Manage multiple priorities in a global environment and influence business partners at all levels.
• Support standardized analytical reporting and adoption of new platform capabilities.

Job description

The role is responsible for design, configure and implement solution in SAP Warehouse Management (WM) and Sales Delivery (SD) area and the functional maintenance of the enabling ERP applications.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

• Participate in warehouse management implementation activities and act as a liaison with business process owners to validate requirements for changes to processes and recommend ERP related best practices.
• Participate in user sessions for requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, configuration, unit testing, and UAT.
• Act as a functional subject matter expert of SAP end-to-end SD, WM, and EWM process; including Put away/Picking strategies, Automatic TO creation, Inventory Cycle count, HUM and Serial management (full end to end delivery flow). Integration to FI, MM, and CS.
• Develop functional specifications for the development of reports, forms, configurations, interfaces, and enhancements in WM areas.
• Manage and coordinate changes and unit and regression testing with integration partners.
• Collaborate with other functional and technical teams on business needs, information, applications, and long-term plans while helping to ensure integration with strategic plans.
• Develop test scenarios and scripts, perform unit testing, coordinate user acceptance testing to resolve and close defects.
• Develop work instructions and job aids for end user training.
• Manage business process mapping, process reengineering and gap analysis. Recommend opportunities for streamlining, consolidating and optimizing processes.
• Assist with solution strategies for business requirements, enhancement requests and defect fixes. Identify, develop and deliver business and technical solutions.
• Work independently while managing multiple priorities in a global environment; interacting with and influencing business partners at all levels.
• Support the development of standardized/centralized analytical reporting.
• Support the identification, prioritization, and implementation of new platform and process capabilities.
• Support change management and training relative to new processes or platforms; coordinate user testing and acceptance.
