Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a ServiceMax Data Developer to design, develop, and manage data integration between ServiceMax, Salesforce, and other enterprise systems in Pune, India.

You will lead data pipeline development, integrate field service data, and ensure the data infrastructure supports business stakeholders. Collaboration with analysts, engineers, and users is essential to deliver reliable data workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data activities, with a focus on Salesforce and/or ServiceMax platform.
• Strong experience with data integration tools (e.g., Informatica, DM Amp, Snowflake, BI tools) and APIs for connecting different systems.
• Strong Experience with SQL and working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server).
• Strong knowledge of data transformation, cleansing, and validation processes
• Understanding of ServiceMax modules and how they integrate with Salesforce and other enterprise systems is a plus.

In this role, you will lead the development of data pipelines, integrate field service data, and ensure that the data infrastructure supports the needs of business stakeholders. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, engineers, and business users, to ensure seamless and effective data workflows for field service management.

What you do

Lead the design of data flows between ServiceMax, Salesforce, ERP, and other enterprise applications.

Optimize and scale data workflows to handle large volumes of field service data while ensuring performance and data accuracy.

How will you do it

Develop DB scripts to support specific Salesforce/ServiceMax data migration activities to meet business requirements.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data needs and provide technical solutions to enhance data quality in the ServiceMax platform.

Implement data validation processes and ensure data integrity throughout the lifecycle of ServiceMax deployments.

Work closely with ServiceMax administrators, developers, and data analysts to align data systems with business objectives.

Coordinate with IT and business teams to troubleshoot data-related issues and implement fixes in a timely manner.

Monitor the performance of data workflows and integrations, proactively identifying bottlenecks or issues.

Continuously optimize data processes to ensure fast, reliable access to field service data for reporting and analytics purposes.

What we look for

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in data activities, with a focus on Salesforce and/or ServiceMax platform.

Strong experience with data integration tools (e.g., Informatica, DM Amp, Snowflake. BI tools) and APIs for connecting different systems.

Strong Experience with SQL and working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server).

Strong knowledge of data transformation, cleansing, and validation processes

Understanding of ServiceMax modules and how they integrate with Salesforce and other enterprise systems is a plus.

Preferred:

Proficiency in programming languages like SQL along with data modelling, ETL processes

Familiarity with field service management KPIs and operational reporting needs.

Experience with advanced data processing technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) or machine learning integration is a plus.

Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).

Any certification related to MySQL/Oracle

Salesforce/ServiceMax Certified Administrator is an added advantage
