Job summary

Solventum in Bengaluru is seeking an IT Portfolio and Program Management Specialist to partner with a global IT organization, govern strategic initiatives, and deliver portfolio reporting and governance improvements.

You will design and standardize PMO processes, build executive dashboards in Smartsheet and Power BI, and empower leaders with insights from cross‑functional programs across India, the US, and EU.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher; 7+ years in IT strategy, PMO, analytics, or related roles.
• Experience building reports and dashboards using Smartsheet and Power BI.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-cultural communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Govern and support IT programs and portfolio initiatives with planning, risk, and metrics.

Here, you will make an impact by:Supporting the management and governance of strategic IT programs and portfolio initiatives through planning, status monitoring, risk management, dependency tracking, and executive reporting activitiesPartnering with program managers, PMO leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders to provide visibility into portfolio health, delivery performance, risks, issues, financial metrics, resource constraints, and key business outcomesContributing to PMO strategy and continuous improvement efforts by helping design, standardize, and enhance portfolio management processes, governance practices, templates, reporting frameworks, and operating modelsDeveloping executive-ready reporting, dashboards, presentations , and portfolio insights that enable informed decision-making by IT and business leadersBuilding and maintaining scalable reporting, workflow, and automation solu tions using tools such as Smartsheet, Power BI, Jira, Microsoft Power Platform, and Microsoft 365 technologiesDriving data quality, reporting accuracy, and portfolio transparency through effective management of project, program, financial, resource, milestone, risk, and dependency informationAnalysing portfolio and program data to identify trends, risks, dependencies, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities , and translating findings into actionable recommendationsExploring of technology initiatives while gaining exposure to senior leadership, complex programs, and enterprise transformation effortsYour Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires at a minimum the following qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree or higher and 7+ years of experience in IT strategy / consulting, business intelligence, automation, PMO reporting, business analysis, project coordination, data analytics, or IT operations support roles.In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:Experience supporting project, program, portfolio, PMO, or transformation initiatives in an IT, technology, consulting, or shared services environmentUnderstanding of project and program management fundamentals including demand intake, planning, milestones, risks, dependencies, financial tracking, stakeholder management, and governance practicesHands-on experience building and maintaining reports, dashboards, sheets, forms, workflows, templates, automations, and portfolio views in SmartsheetExperience creating reports, dashboards, metrics , visualizations, presentations, and data summaries using Power BI, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and related Microsoft Office toolsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize information from multiple sources and communicate insights clearly to different audiencesAbility to work independently under broadly defined processes and tools, collaborate with program managers and stakeholders, support India, US, and EU stakeholder collaborationAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Experience supporting enterprise PMOs, portfolio management functions, transformation offices , digital programs, ERP implementations, infrastructure modernization, cybersecurity initiatives, M&A integrations, or large-scale IT programsSmartsheet certification, Power BI certification, Microsoft certification, Agile/Scrum certification , or related analytics, automation, or process improvement credentialExperience with portfolio management platforms , reporting automation, data visualization, or executive reportingExperience leveraging AI tools, Copilot capabilities , automation technologies, or advanced analytics to improve reporting and operational effectivenessWorking knowledge of data quality, reporting governance , process documentation, testing, change tracking, and continuous improvement practicesSkills include attention to detail, analytical curiosity, structured problem
