JOB PURPOSE

Carelon Global Solutions India is seeking a Project Manager.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

• Planning & Definition: Define project scope, goals, requirements, timelines, and budgets, reviewing construction documents and technical specs.
• Execution & Oversight: Lead cross‑functional teams (IT, facilities, vendors), manage daily activities, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to procedures, safety, and compliance.
• Budget & Resource Management: Track expenditures, manage costs, procure resources, and handle vendor contracts and procurement processes.
• Risk & Issue Management: Identify potential issues, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve project roadblocks.
• Communication & Reporting: Provide regular status updates to stakeholders, management, and clients; act as a key point of contact.
• Quality & Closure: Oversee system testing, punch lists, final inspections, and organize project close‑out documentation.

QUALIFICATION

• Education/Certifications : Bachelor's degree in a related field; certifications like PMP are required.
• EXPERIENCE 15+ years hands‑on IT infrastructure & project delivery experience Strong background in servers, networks, storage, virtualization, cloud Demonstrated success leading medium to large infrastructure programs Experience managing budgets, risks, and multi‑team coordination Strong communication, leadership, and vendor management experience Certification like PMP is required
• SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES Technical Knowledge: Understanding of relevant systems (networks, hardware, software, mechanical/electrical systems). Project Management: Proficiency in planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and using PM tools. Leadership: Ability to lead, motivate, and coordinate technical staff and teams. Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills for diverse audiences. Stakeholder Management: Strong ability to collaborate with internal teams, senior management, and external partners.
