REPORTING TO: Service Delivery Lead, Food, Feed and Environment Testing Europe

OVERALL OBJECTIVES: As part of the IT Infrastructure Support Team for Eurofins Food, Feed & Environment Testing Europe, you will join a growing international team to work on strategic IT Infrastructure projects. Your role will be to design and implement new infrastructure or migrate existing network components. You will collaborate with Project & Implementation Managers as well as other Infrastructure team members on a daily basis. It will require networking and network security skills. An open mind and ability to cooperate with multiple individuals in a multicultural environment is essential.

You will have the opportunity to drive Eurofins major IT Infrastructure transition and transformation across Food, Feed & Environment Testing Europe businesses.

SPECIFIC ASSIGNMENTS:

• Design, plan and implement network IT infrastructure for transformation, integration, and segregation throughout Food and Environment testing businesses across Europe. These projects aim to perform installations, configuration, and migrations of enterprise‑level network infrastructure systems from legacy to new solutions.
• Propose and deliver solutions that best meet the business needs in terms of security, cost and bandwidth.
• Work closely with Server, Cloud, and Application team members to deliver the IT Infrastructure as part of broader projects, acting on an end‑to‑end view of the Infrastructure.
• Document the solutions delivered and help transition the service to regional teams in the final stage of the project.
• Act as L3/L4 point of contact after the Infrastructure Service is transitioned to the target teams.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

An ideal candidate should have strong 5+ years experience in all of the following:

• Network infrastructure design and build.
• Maintenance of network components (upgrades, etc.).

• Data center network experience.

• QoS.
• Network monitoring.
• Load balancing.
• VPN (ideally Pulse Secure).
• Data center network experience.
• Experience in complex network migrations.
