Skeps, a blockchain‑based tech company, offers the first microservices platform embedding financial solutions into customer journeys. Our innovative multi‑lender POS financing solution simplifies lending for high‑value purchases, integrating seamlessly into merchant websites, stores, and omnichannel checkouts, reducing purchase friction and boosting lifetime value.

We’re looking for an IT Head who will be responsible for leading and managing the organization’s overall IT strategy, infrastructure, and security operations. This role ensures the availability, integrity, and scalability of IT systems while aligning technology initiatives with business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead end – to – end IT infrastructure management including servers, networks, cloud environments, and endpoint security platforms (JAMF and other device management tools)
• Administer and maintain core enterprise systems such as Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and domain services
• Manage server deployment, upgrades, maintenance, and capacity planning for new and ongoing projects
• Oversee cloud operations, including cloud agent management and optimization of cloud resources
• Implement and manage enterprise security solutions, including firewalls (SonicWall, Sophos, Fortigate) and antivirus platforms (Sophos, McAfee, Symantec)
• Ensure robust backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies for critical systems and data
• Own IT audit, risk, and compliance processes in line with regulatory and organizational standards
• Manage IT service delivery using platforms such as ServiceNow and CA, covering incidents, change requests, service requests, and asset management
• Participate in SOC operations, monitoring, investigating, and responding to security alerts and incidents
• Lead and mentor IT team members, driving operational excellence and continuous skill development
• Plan and manage IT budgets, focusing on cost optimization, provisioning, and resource allocation
• Drive procurement decisions for hardware, software, and technology assets
• Define and enforce IT policies, processes, and best practices to enhance efficiency and security posture

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or IT operations
• 3–5+ years in an IT Manager, Lead, or senior technical role
• Strong hands‑on experience with Windows Server environments (Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP)
• Proven experience managing cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP), including optimization and cost control
• Experience with endpoint and device management platforms such as JAMF or equivalent tools
• Solid expertise in server deployment, upgrades, lifecycle management, and capacity planning
• Hands‑on experience with enterprise security solutions including firewalls (SonicWall, Sophos, Fortigate) and antivirus platforms (Sophos, McAfee, Symantec)
• Experience with SOC operations, security monitoring, and incident response
• Strong knowledge of backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
• Experience supporting IT audit, risk, and compliance requirements
• Hands‑on experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, CA, or similar platforms
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop IT teams
• Strong stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration skills
• Experience managing IT budgets, cost optimization, and resource planning
