Job summary

Keysight Technologies is seeking an entry-level IT Engineer specializing in software development, test automation, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA). The role involves designing technical solutions, automating business processes, improving testing efficiency, and supporting AI-driven initiatives across enterprise IT systems.

You will collaborate with functional IT teams and business stakeholders to develop scalable solutions, optimize workflows, and deliver projects using established software

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Approximately 1–2 years of experience in software development, implementation, or solution architecture.
• Strong technical design skills and experience preparing or reviewing functional and technical specifications.
• Familiarity with Jira and tools used for test management and defect tracking.
• Good understanding of AI tools, technologies, and architecture.
• Strong analytical thinking and a structured approach to problem-solving.
• Self-motivation, initiative, and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively with globally distributed IT teams and offshore–onsite delivery models.

Responsibilities

• Analyze functional specifications and translate business requirements into effective technical designs and architectures.
• Troubleshoot software issues, debug applications, and optimize system performance.
• Design user interfaces and improve the overall user experience.
• Coordinate with IT teams to plan new features, system upgrades, and application enhancements.
• Research and recommend suitable applications, technologies, and protocols based on business needs.
• Analyze business processes and project requirements to develop effective testing strategies and test packs.
• Build and maintain automated test scenarios for functional and regression testing.
• Develop, implement, and deploy RPA solutions using platforms such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, and Blue Prism.
• Maintain test automation environments, virtual machines, and supporting infrastructure.
• Contribute to AI-driven improvements in test automation and RPA workflows.
• Prepare dashboards and reports for IT teams and business stakeholders.
• Coordinate development activities and ensure deliverables align with project requirements.
• Work with Agile, Waterfall, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies as required.
