Job summary

Eurofins Bengaluru seeks a senior business analyst to lead requirements gathering for digital transformation of core processes. You will translate concepts into functional specs, act as a bridge between business and IT, and own roadmap artefacts.

The role involves documenting best practices, training users, and ensuring proper support during deployment and operations. Ideal candidates bring 6+ years in process analysis, UML proficiency, and strong English communication, with a Master’s degree

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in analysing, describing and challenging processes and workflows.
• Knowledge of UML and other tools to create diagrams, wireframes.
• Master's degree in business administration / commerce / computer sciences.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as a functional expert to collect, challenge and agree on business requirements for digitalizing business processes.
• Translate business requirements/processes into functional specifications and assess complexity.
• Act as a product owner for business processes and coordinate between business and IT development teams.
• Write and maintain best practice documentation and train administrators and key users.
• Provide level 2 support during deployment and level 3 during operations.
• Audit and review tool usage to ensure best practice processes.
• Model requirements into user stories with artefacts for the development team.

Job Description

• Act as a functional expert to collect, challenge and agree on business requirements for digitalizing business processes;
• Translate business requirements/processes into functional specifications and give detailed judgement on business complexity to promote simplification;
• Act as a product owner for the business processes and be responsible for the communication and cooperation between business and IT development teams;
• Write and maintain best practice documentation and train administrators and key users;
• Ensure level 2 support during transition life cycle (deployment) and level 3 support during operational life cycle;
• Audit and review use of the new tools to ensure implementation of best practice processes;
• Model the requirements into user stories (work items for development team) with the appropriate set of artefacts.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Profile Description

• Self-motivated, professional team player with customer focus;
• Affinity with and good understanding of IT concepts and digital technologies;
• Attention to detail, assertive.
• University degree in Business Engineering, Computer Science or similar educational background;
• Efficient time management and high quality attitude;
• Experience in agile development methods (scrum), preferably using Azure DevOps;
• Preferable: experience with workflows and related IT solutions.
