Eurofins Scientific in India seeks a software engineer with 3–7 years of full-stack experience in C#/ASP.NET and SQL Server to join our IT team in Karnataka. You will contribute to LIMS-related projects, collaborate with business and technical teams, and support SDLC processes.

The role requires strong English communication, problem-solving, and the ability to work on multiple tasks with on-call rotation, delivering reliable, compliant applications.

Essential Job Duties

Level I - Minimum

• Manage designated technology application portfolio from configuration, maintenance and monitoring
• Provide analysis, architectural design and leadership on small size projects
• Work within defined IT processes and procedures including the company’s internal software development life cycle methodology (SDLC)
• Serve as liaisons between technical and business departments in order to ensure that all requirements and targets are met
• Work under close to moderate supervision with limited latitude for independent judgment
• Consult with senior peers on non-complex projects to learn through experience
• Apply basic application management and administration skills with moderate level of proficiency
• Represent department and the organization favorably and in accordance with established Company standards and associate attributes at all times
• Participate in 24x7 On Call rotation supporting break/fix ticket resolution.

Level II – Fully meets the responsibilities of Level I plus the following

• Manage designated technology application portfolio from reengineering, enhancements and upgrades, to maintenance and monitoring
• Provide analysis, architectural design and leadership on medium and large complexity projects
• Work within and assist with management of defined IT processes and procedures including the company’s internal software development life cycle methodology (SDLC)
• Work with little to no supervision with extreme latitude for independent judgment
• Consult with senior peers on medium to large complexity projects
• Provide guidance and knowledge transfer to peers for areas of expertise
• Apply proficient application management and administration skills with moderate level of proficiency

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Required Experience

Up to 3 years of successful full-stack development with C#/asp.net or equivalent UI development. SQL Server.

Preferred Experience

• Leading projects, developing and administrating Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS): STARLiMS, Outreach
• Leading projects, developing and administrating Specimen Management Systems
• Leading projects, developing and administrating Lab Instrument Interfaces connecting instruments to LIMS
• Working knowledge of HL7 standard and coding
• Knowledge of testing laboratory operations and processes a plus

Level II – Fully meets the qualifications of Level I plus the following

Experience using and applying System Development Lifecycle Methodologies.

Proven experience leading tasks or projects related to medium to large size software implementations.

PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL CRITERIA: Eurofins has a strong focus on Performance Management system. This includes quarterly calibrations, half-yearly reviews and annual reviews. The KPIs shall be set and may vary slightly between projects. These will be clearly communicated, documented during the first 30 days of your joining.
