Job summary

Solventum is seeking an IT Auditor to join our growing team in India. You will perform IT SOX and IT Application Control testing under senior supervision, document processes and controls, and help improve internal controls across the organization.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of IT SOX or internal audit experience, with a Big 4 or controls background. Expect a hybrid work arrangement with global collaboration and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Perform IT SOX and IT Application Control testing under guidance.
• Document key process steps, risks, and control activities.
• Execute control testing procedures and gather evidence.
• Support evaluation of control deficiencies and remediation tracking.
• Ensure testing and documentation are completed accurately and on time.
• Collaborate with peers and process owners to understand business processes.
• Contribute to standardization and efficiency efforts.

• Performing IT SOX, IT Application Control, and internal audit testing under the guidance of senior team members.
• Participating in walkthroughs and documenting key process steps, risks, and control activities.
• Executing control testing procedures, gathering and validating evidence, and maintaining quality workpapers.
• Supporting the evaluation of control deficiencies and assisting with remediation tracking.
• Ensuring testing and documentation are completed accurately and within required timelines.
• Collaborating with peers and process owners to enhance understanding of business processes.
• Contributing to standardization and efficiency efforts.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires at a minimum the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2–3 years of IT SOX or internal audit experience
• Big 4 or internal controls background preferred

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include

• CPA, CA, CISA, or similar certification strongly preferred
• Basic understanding of COSO, Sarbanes Oxley (SOX), internal control principles and internal control best practices
• Experience with SAP S/4 HANA or complex data environments preferred
• Strong organization, communication, and teamwork skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent documentation practices
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a global, fast-paced environment
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with high-quality output
