Responsibilities
- Lead external audit in accordance with the PCAOB (Public Company Accounting Oversight Board) Auditing Standards.
- Lead team in conducting process understanding discussions with clients to assess risks related to technology and identify control gaps.
- Evaluate and review the design and operating effectiveness of technology controls (GITCs and ITACs) related to clients' internal controls over financial reporting.
- Perform SOC 1 and SOC 2, SOC 2+ (HITRUST), SSAE18 assessments per AICPA standards.
- Demonstrate project management skills across multiple engagements, collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate IT controls into business processes.
- Document audit findings, prepare reports, and recommend improvements to management.
- Identify opportunities for efficiency and process automation during engagements.
- Share knowledge and mentor junior team members, providing on-the-job training.
- Lead team performance, give constructive feedback, and manage engagement economics including resourcing and reporting.
- Contribute to technical knowledge development and training within the practice.
- Manage client communications regarding engagement status, scope, testing results, and deliverables.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Mandatory technical skills
- Experience in testing manual and automated process controls and general IT controls.
- Knowledge of risks across various IT platforms such as ERPs, UNIX/Linux, Windows, Mainframe, iSeries, SQL, Oracle, cloud solutions.
- Familiarity with industry standards like COBIT, COSO, HIPAA is preferred.
- Understanding of different industry sectors and business environments.
Preferred technical skills
- Experience with emerging technologies like cloud computing, Agile, blockchain, automation, AI.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Power BI.
- Experience in proposal development and practice initiatives.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies and certifications like CISA, CISSP, HITRUST, ISO.

Qualifications
- Education: BE/B.Tech, B.Com, BCA, B.Sc, MBA, M.Sc, MCA, M.Tech, CA.
- Experience: 5-8 years in a similar role, preferably with a Big 4 firm.
- Leadership experience: 1-2 years in team management or performance oversight.
