Job summary
Caterpillar Inc. is seeking an experienced IT Analyst Applications (Snowflake Developer) to join the SDP, EPDP, and SCDP teams within the CAT IT Division.
You will develop and maintain Snowflake-based data solutions ensuring high availability, performance, and data quality for procurement and supplier data platforms. The role requires collaborating with business stakeholders and global teams, delivering scalable data solutions, and participating in Agile processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, IT, engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years in data engineering, data warehousing, or database development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, SQL, Python and data modeling concepts.
- Experience with ETL/ELT tools, data integration frameworks, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- Knowledge of data warehousing, performance tuning, and data governance best practices.
- Experience supporting production systems and resolving complex data-related issues.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

We are seeking an experienced IT Analyst Applications (Snowflake Developer) to join RI Order Fulfilment & Procurement–CAT IT Division. To support the SDP (Sales Data Platform), EPDP, and SCDP applications. This role will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining Snowflake-based data solutions while ensuring high availability, performance, and data quality across critical procurement and supplier data platforms.
The preference for this role is to be based out of Bangalore – Caterpillar PSN
This position requires candidate to work a 5-day -a -week schedule.

- Design, develop, and optimize Snowflake data models, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data integration solutions.
- Support ongoing development and production support activities for SDP, EPDP, and SCDP applications.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and application teams to understand data requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
