We are seeking a skilled IT Analyst Applications (Senior Lead Developer Architect) to join our Applications Development & Intelligence Automation -CAT IT Division Bangalore Team.
The preference for this role is to be based out of Bangalore PSN Office, KA-India
A Development Lead/Architect drives technical strategy, designs scalable software systems, and mentors engineering teams. They bridge high-level architecture with hands‑on coding, ensuring code quality, security, and performance standards. Key responsibilities include creating technical blueprints, leading development, conducting code reviews, and aligning initiatives with business goals.
- Architectural Design & Strategy: Define technical, security, and infrastructure standards, designing high-level, scalable solutions.
- Technical Leadership: Guide development teams through the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), conducting code reviews and ensuring best practices.
- Mentorship: Mentor developers to enhance technical skills and foster a culture of engineering excellence.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers and stakeholders to align technical roadmaps with business objectives.
- Hands‑on Development: Drive development of APIs, microservices, and core application components.
- Performance & Security: Optimize application performance and ensure system security compliance.
Experience: 8+ years in software development, with 5+ years in lead/architect roles
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in modern frameworks (e.g., Java/Spring Boot, Python), Microservices, Cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP), and Database design.
- Leadership: Proven experience leading technical teams, mentoring, and managing stakeholder expectations.
- Methodologies: Strong experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills to articulate technical visions to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Work Timings: 01:00 Noon -10:00PM IST
- This position requires the employee to work a 5‑day‑a‑week schedule in the office.
