Nokia is a global leader in connectivity and networking solutions. We seek an IP Pre Sales Consultant to support sales with product and solution offerings, identify opportunities, and present customised Nokia IP demonstrations to customers.

Your role includes designing tailored IP solutions, responding to RFPs, providing technical discovery, and enabling partners and teams through training. Hybrid working in Mumbai supports work–life balance while delivering customer value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree with 10–15 years of relevant experience.
• Delivers short-term impact through individual and team contributions within the assigned function or subject area.
• Works autonomously as a subject matter expert, analysing and implementing concepts and solutions.
• Provides measurable input to new products, processes, standards, and operational plans.

Responsabilités

• Develop comprehensive expertise in Nokia's IP networking solutions and confidently present capabilities to customers, partners, and stakeholders.
• Identify new sales opportunities and develop new business contacts within the market unit.
• Lead technical responses to RFPs, RFIs, and tenders, including solution architecture and implementation roadmaps.
• Design and present tailored IP solutions addressing client pain points.
• Monitor IP industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to inform sales strategy.
• Articulate differentiators against competing IP platforms using ROI models and use-case narratives.
• Conduct discovery sessions to understand IP workflows, portfolio size, budget, and integration needs.
• Train partners and internal teams on IP solutions, protocols, and integration best practices.

Job Description:

An IP Pre Sales Consultant supports sales teams with product, service, and solution offerings. Identifies business opportunities, understands customer needs, provides technical expertise, and supports customer decisions through customised solutions and presentations. provides specialised technical and solution expertise to support sales. Identifies new business opportunities, presents and demonstrates Nokia solutions, and develops customer-focused strategies using a consultative selling approach.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

• Master Nokia's IP Portfolio: Develop comprehensive expertise in Nokia's Internet Protocol (IP) networking solutions—including the 7750 Service Router (SR) family, 7250 Interconnect Router (IXR), 7705 Service Aggregation Router (SAR), 7210 Service Access Switch (SAS), and Network Services Platform (NSP)—and confidently present their capabilities to customers, partners, and stakeholders.
• Developing Business: Accountable for breaking in new sales opportunities with solid business impact within market unit and developing new business contacts.
• Proposal & RFP Support: Lead technical responses to RFPs, RFIs, and tenders, including solution architecture, BOMs, and implementation roadmaps.
• Solution Design & Demos: Design and present tailored IP solutions that address client pain points.
• Market Intelligence: Monitor IP industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to inform sales strategy.
• Competitive Positioning: Articulate differentiators against competing IP platforms or advisory firms using ROI models and use-case narratives.
• Technical Discovery: Conduct discovery sessions with prospects to understand their IP workflows, portfolio size, budget, and integration needs.
• Training & Enablement: Train partners and internal teams on IP solutions, protocols, and integration best practices.
