Atlys is hiring an iOS Engineer to build and scale the Atlys iOS app, helping millions of travellers apply for visas faster and with less uncertainty, right from their phones.

You will own features end-to-end with a focus on performance, polish and reliability, delivering core experiences from discovery to payments while integrating AI-powered flows and data-driven iterations.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of iOS development experience, shipping and scaling at least one consumer app.
• Strong proficiency in Swift, including Swift Concurrency (async/await), with hands-on SwiftUI and UIKit.
• Solid grasp of modern app architecture (MVVM, Clean Architecture or TCA), dependency injection and modularisation with SwiftPM.
• Experience building robust networking/data layers using REST/GraphQL APIs, URLSession, Core Data or SwiftData, and offline-first patterns.
• Familiarity with measuring and improving app health using Xcode Instruments, Crashlytics, XCTest and analytics/experimentation SDKs.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship core app experiences in Swift and SwiftUI across the visa journey, from discovery to payments and tracking.
• Own app quality and performance, optimizing launch time, crash rates, memory usage and size across devices.
• Bring AI into the app by implementing AI-powered flows like smart document capture and conversational assistants.

The Role

We're looking for an iOS Engineer to build and scale the Atlys iOS app, helping millions of travellers apply for visas faster and with less uncertainty, right from their phones.

This role is for someone with a strong foundation in native iOS development who obsesses over performance, polish and reliability, and who enjoys owning features end to end.

The Job

• Build and ship core app experiences in Swift and SwiftUI across the visa journey, from discovery and document upload to payments and application tracking.
• Own app quality and performance, keeping launch time, crash rates, memory usage and app size in check across devices, iOS versions and network conditions.
• Bring AI into the app by turning AI-powered flows such as smart document capture, conversational assistance into fast, native experiences.
• Ship fast with product, design and backend, running experiments and iterating on features based on data.
• Raise the engineering bar through clean architecture, thoughtful code reviews, automated testing and CI/CD.

The Ideal Candidate

You'll Likely Thrive In This Role If You

• Have 3-5 years of iOS development experience, including shipping and scaling at least one consumer app on the App Store.
• Are exceptionally strong in Swift, including Swift Concurrency (async/await), with hands-on experience in SwiftUI and UIKit.
• Have a solid grasp of modern app architecture (MVVM, Clean Architecture or TCA), dependency injection and modularisation with Swift Package Manager.
