Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Investor Relations & Capital Partnerships Partner DACH based in India.

Take a leading role in expanding fundraising and investor relations activities across the DACH region, connecting ambitious startups with the capital and strategic partnerships they need to grow. You will identify promising companies, secure fundraising mandates, and build relationships with venture capital funds, family offices, business angels, and institutional investors. Working across sectors such as FinTech, artificial intelligence, healthcare, and digital business models, you will assess investment opportunities and facilitate targeted investor introductions. You will contribute throughout the fundraising lifecycle, from initial founder discussions and investor outreach to due diligence and transaction closing. This entrepreneurial opportunity offers substantial autonomy, performance-based earning potential, and the ability to leverage your existing network. It is particularly suited to an established fundraising professional with a proven track record and strong connections within the DACH investment ecosystem.

Accountabilities:

You will drive fundraising mandate acquisition, investor relationship development, and capital partnership opportunities across the DACH region. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Fundraising Mandate Development: Identify and approach promising startups and growth-stage companies seeking Seed or Series A funding.

  • Pipeline Management: Build, maintain, and develop a strong pipeline of potential fundraising mandates and investment opportunities.

  • Company Assessment: Conduct initial discussions with founders and evaluate business models, pitch decks, financial models, market opportunities, team quality, and fundraising readiness.

  • Capital Advisory Positioning: Establish credibility with founders and position the advisory platform as a trusted partner for fundraising and capital-raising activities.

  • Investor Network Development: Activate and expand relationships with venture capital funds, family offices, business angels, high-net-worth individuals, corporate venture arms, and strategic investors.

  • Investor-Company Matching: Match suitable startups with relevant investor profiles and coordinate targeted introductions to maximize fundraising opportunities.

  • Fundraising Execution: Support the fundraising process from investor outreach and preparation of investor materials through due diligence coordination, term sheet discussions, and transaction closing.

  • Capital Partnerships: Introduce qualified investors, high-net-worth individuals, and family offices to relevant opportunities.

  • Relationship Management: Build long-term relationships with founders, investors, family offices, and strategic partners across the DACH ecosystem.

  • Market Development: Identify new opportunities and strengthen the platform's presence across technology-driven sectors, including FinTech, artificial intelligence, healthcare, and real estate.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial finance professional with a demonstrable fundraising track record, an established investor network, and the ability to build trusted relationships with founders and capital providers. You should combine strong financial judgment with commercial drive, independence, and credibility in investor-facing situations. Key qualifications include:

  • At least five years of relevant experience in venture capital, investment banking, corporate finance, fundraising advisory, mergers and acquisitions, private markets, or a comparable field.

  • A proven track record of supporting, advising on, or executing Seed and Series A financing rounds.

  • An active and established investor network across the DACH region, particularly among venture capital funds, family offices, business angels, high-net-worth individuals, and strategic investors.

  • Strong understanding of technology-driven startups, digital business models, investor expectations, and fundraising processes.

  • Experience or a strong professional interest in FinTech, artificial intelligence, healthcare, or real estate.

  • Ability to evaluate business models, market potential, financial structures, and fundraising readiness.

  • Confidence in communicating with startup founders, investors, and institutional partners.

  • Fluency in both German and English, written and spoken.

  • An independent, entrepreneurial, performance-driven, and highly reliable working style.

  • Excellent networking, relationship-building, and negotiation skills, supported by a professional presence in investor-facing discussions.

Important:

Applications must demonstrate verifiable experience in venture capital, fundraising, corporate finance, investment banking, or startup financing. An established investor network is essential for this role.

Benefits:
  • Entrepreneurial position with significant responsibility and direct influence over fundraising and investor relations activities.

  • Attractive compensation structure combining fixed and performance-based components.

  • Additional earning potential through success-based fees on successfully closed transactions.

  • Flexible working arrangements across the DACH region, with remote or hybrid options.

  • Opportunity to expand and strengthen a professional network of startups, investors, family offices, and strategic partners.

  • Access to a growth-oriented advisory and investment platform with international ambitions.

  • High degree of autonomy and flexibility to apply your own network, expertise, and working style.
