Job summary

Aliens Group seeks a Full-time MBA/CA professional to lead fundraising for its real estate developments in Hyderabad. You will manage deal origination, prepare investor materials, and build financial models to assess ROI and project viability.

Collaborate with the Director-Capital Markets and legal/compliance teams to structure deals, ensure regulatory compliance, and present strategic plans to investors. On-site at Aliens Space Station, Tellapur.

Qualifications

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Support fundraising efforts specific to Group's real estate development projects, ensuring alignment with their unique financial structures, timelines, and capital requirements. This includes focusing on project-level financing, debt-equity structures, and partnerships
• Work closely with Director-Capital Markets throughout the entire fundraising lifecycle, supporting all aspects of transaction execution from deal origination to closure
• Conduct ongoing research to monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and economic factors affecting real estate development. Provide data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions and adjust fundraising strategies accordingly
• Assist in preparing long-term strategic financial plans and projections for the Group. Analyze potential growth opportunities and present financial scenarios to support new project developments, joint ventures, and acquisitions
• Build, maintain, and refine financial models to support fundraising efforts and investment analysis. Conduct in-depth valuations of real estate assets, using methods such as Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), Comparable Company Analysis (CCA), and Net Asset Value (NAV)
• Provide insights into project profitability, return on investment (ROI), and the financial feasibility of various funding options
• Create and design pitch decks, information memorandums, and other investor materials that clearly communicate the value proposition of the company's real estate projects. Tailor these documents to suit specific investor requirements, highlighting financial metrics, project timelines, and expected returns
• Act as the point of contact for potential and existing investors. Manage investor queries, respond to due diligence requests, and ensure all communications are clear and accurate.
• Support investor presentations and meetings, and maintain an updated database of investor communications and activities
• Work with legal and compliance teams to ensure that all transactions comply with relevant local and international regulations. This includes understanding the implications of tax laws, structuring deals (e.g., SPVs, joint ventures), and addressing other legal and financial regulatory requirements
• Liaise between internal teams (e.g., legal, finance, operations) and external stakeholders (investors, legal advisors) to ensure seamless communication. Resolve internal queries regarding financials and growth projections and ensure alignment between business objectives and investor expectations

Desired Profile:

• Full-time MBA from Tier-1 B-Schools or CA (First/Second Attempt) with relevant experience in Fundraising or Investment Banking
• Strong business acumen with advanced financial modeling skills and the ability to create high-quality Pitch Books and Information Memorandums
• Previous experience in Investment Banking, Management Consulting, or with large firms involved in active deal origination is highly desirable
• Exceptional at complex data analysis and adept at number crunching
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex financial information
• Proficient in Advanced MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and relevant tools for financial modeling, analysis, charts, and graphs
• A self-driven individual who excels as an independent contributor and can work with minimal guidance
