Job summary

Aptura, a London-based firm exploring AI in professional work, seeks an Investment Banking AI Researcher in India. You bring years of deal experience to design realistic PowerPoint tasks that reflect client-ready decks and the gaps AI currently shows.

You will work remotely from India, turning your bank deal knowledge into test tasks, and write precise yes/no checklists so an AI grader can mark results consistently.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in M&A, ECM, DCM or leveraged finance at a bank or advisory boutique.
• Deep hands-on PowerPoint: native charts, tables and corporate templates.
• Ability to define what a correct deck looks like precisely enough for someone else to grade against it.
• Clear writing. Tasks must be written by you, not by AI tools.
• Attention to detail, and willingness to learn concepts in AI and data.

Responsibilities

Investment Banking AI Researcher

Role description

We are looking for Subject Matter Experts from investment banking who have spent years building pitch books, teasers and deal decks. You know what a client-ready slide looks like, and how far most AI output still is from it.

You have used AI tools on your own work and been frustrated by the mistakes they make, or you simply want to find out how good they really are.

You will turn that experience into realistic PowerPoint tasks that test how well AI do the deck work of a junior banker.

Responsibilities include

• Writing realistic PowerPoint tasks drawn from your own deal work: building decks from source documents, filling corporate templates, rolling decks forward and making precise edits
