Job summary

Caterpillar is seeking a detail-oriented investigator to join its Supply Chain and Logistics team in Bengaluru. The role focuses on investigating and processing discrepancy claims, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and engaging customers throughout the claims process.

The position requires onsite work five days a week and offers a comprehensive rewards package. The ideal candidate has strong analytical thinking, data gathering skills, and knowledge of inventory and materials handling

Job Summary

Investigates and processes discrepancy claims.

• Execute investigation of discrepancy claims
• Execute processing of discrepancy claims based on investigation outcome
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete investigations
• Engage with customers throughout the claims process

Degree or equivalent experience desired

• Inventory Management: Knowledge of processes and methods of inventory management.
• Materials Handling and Management: Knowledge of material handling and management in plants.
• Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
• Supply Chain Management: Knowledge of functions, principles and techniques used in supply chain management.
