Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented professional in Bengaluru, India to Investigate discrepancy claims and process outcomes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage customers throughout the claims lifecycle to ensure accurate resolution.

The role emphasizes data gathering, root-cause analysis, and adherence to supply chain practices within a manufacturing context. Shift 1-10 PM and onsite work are required.

• Execute investigation of discrepancy claims
• Execute processing of discrepancy claims based on investigation outcome
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete investigations

What You Have

Data Gathering & Analysis: Knowledge of data gathering and analysis tools, techniques, and processes; ability to collect and synthesize data from a variety of stakeholders and sources in an objective manner to reach a conclusion, goal, or judgment.

Inventory Management: Knowledge of processes and methods of inventory management.

Materials Handling and Management: Knowledge of material handling and management in plants.

Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.

Supply Chain Management: Knowledge of functions, principles and techniques used in supply chain management.
