Job summary

Akasa Air in Bengaluru, India seeks a maintenance technician to assist the Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) in scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance. You will work under AME guidance on technical issues and ensure compliance with airworthiness standards, safety procedures, and line maintenance manuals.

The role involves tool reconciliation, marshal procedures, and reporting to the Tech Supervisor for task allocation and admin needs, plus participation in audits and any other

Responsibilities

• Assist the AME in performing all scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance
• Associate and take guidance from AME on Technical issues
• Carry out all allocated tasks efficiently and to the laid down airworthiness and company maintenance standards
• Perform Marshalling and Headset communication Procedures
• Safety awareness and adherence to safety procedures while performing maintenance
• Take care of personal/shift Toolbox and perform Tool Reconciliation of the toolbox on completion of maintenance tasks and report missing/broken tools
• Report to Tech Supervisor for job allocation and other admin requirements
• Ensure knowledge of processes defined in Line Maintenance Manual relevant to current position
• Participation in internal/external audits
• Any other duties assigned by immediate supervisors.
