Internship Role: Policy & Research (3 Months)
Nature of employment: Remote/In-person/Hybrid
Reporting to: Principal Lead
Role Overview
Support ongoing projects by researching and gathering intelligence across thematic problem statements related to learning disabilities, inclusion, and education systems in India. The role reports directly to the Principal Lead and can be undertaken in-person or remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Policy Research & Landscape Analysis: Conduct research on national and global policies affecting learning disabilities, identifying gaps, challenges, and opportunities across different thematic interventions that impact them.
- Thematic Intelligence Gathering: Compile insights across thematic areas such as identification, interventions, assessments, and transition pathways, benchmarking against global practices.
- Data-Driven Insights: Analyze available datasets, studies, and reports to generate findings that inform strategic decision‑making.
- Knowledge Products & Documentation: Prepare policy briefs, reports, and presentations summarizing research findings. Capture learnings and key takeaways relevant to scaling strategies.
- Tech & Innovation Scan: Identify and summarize relevant tech‑led innovations or platforms supporting inclusive education and systemic transformation.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Development Studies, Economics, Law, Liberal Arts, Business, or related disciplines.
Strong analytical, research, and writing skills. Comfortable using technology and emerging AI tools.
