Job summary

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits as per scope, checklist and schedule.
• Visit project sites for audits.
• Prepare draft audit observations and obtain replies.
• Validate replies and prepare draft audit reports for Internal Audit Head.
• Prepare MIS and verify reconciliation statements.
• Follow up on corrective actions and action dates.
• Support operational and administrative issues of the audit department.
• Establish relationships across the organization to foster communication and cooperation.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

Conduct audit as per the scope, checklist and schedule

Visit project sites for audits as per the schedule

Conduct Process and compliance audits at Head office.

Issue draft audit observations and obtain replies

Validate the replies received and Prepare draft audit report including all non-conformities and submit to Internal Audit Head for review and finalisation

Preparation of MIS, verification of Reconciliation statements, vouching of accounting transactions.

Ensure that corrective actions are identified and dates of closure are committed for all the accepted audit observations

Follow with auditees for action taken report

Work along with Internal Audit Head on special assignments and other audit related works

Ensure the preparation of MIS, Review and submit an analysis report to Internal Audit Head

Support in the operational & administrative issues of audit department

Establish relationship throughout the organisation to foster communication and cooperation

Preferred candidate profile

4-5 years experience in internal audit in a reputed organisation, preferably in construction and infrastructure industry. Good Knowledge of provisions under GST, Income tax, labour laws and other applicable statutes, Accounting and Internal Auditing Standards. Need to travel about 10 to 15 days in a month. Good Analytical and Excel skills
