AST SpaceMobile is building the first and only global cellular broadband network in space to operate directly with standard, unmodified mobile devices based on our extensive IP and patent portfolio and designed for both commercial and government applications. Our engineers and space scientists are on a mission to eliminate the connectivity gaps faced by today’s five billion mobile subscribers and finally bring broadband to the billions who remain unconnected.

Position Overview

We are looking for an Intern with strong programming skills to join our team and contribute to the verification, and validation of mission‑critical software systems. This role will work and assist test engineers to build reliable, embedded flight software, automate test workflows, and support system‑level integration and verification activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Proficiency in Python programming language.
• Understanding of software design principles, data structures, and debugging techniques
• Exposure to Linux operating systems, Dockers, Containers and Cloud infrastructure.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems

Education

Tech in Electronics \ Computer Science.

Soft Skills

Curious, detail-oriented, and eager to work in a fast‑paced environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work from office in a standard office environment 80% of the time.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to use a computer for extended periods.
