Job summary

Stryker is seeking a data/automation-focused professional to analyze order documents and design an extraction pipeline. You will evaluate OCR tools (e.g., Tesseract, PaddleOCR, LayoutLM/LiLT) and implement validated data flows into existing systems. The role combines ML/NLP interest with strong scripting in Python and basic SQL.

The position targets engineers graduating in 2025 or 2026, with exposure to UIPath or Power Automate for automation, and a focus on data quality and process improvement.

Required Qualification:

• Working knowledge of Python (data processing, scripting).
• Masters degree in Engineering passing out in 2025 or 2026
• Interest in (or some exposure to) machine learning, computer vision, or NLP.
• Basic SQL and comfort with structured data.
• An analytical mindset and strong attention to data quality
• Basic knowledge of UI-based automations (eg. UiPath) and/or API-based automations (eg. PowerAutomate)
