Job summary

Aereo in Bengaluru is seeking an Intern – Flight Operations Support to gain hands-on exposure to UAV systems, flight testing workflows, and field readiness processes within a fast-paced technical team.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with electronics, sensors, payloads, and basic troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Execute in-house quality checks of drones, accessories, and supporting systems to ensure operational readiness and compliance.
• Perform health assessments on drones, batteries, DGPS/GNSS units, cameras, and payloads; identify issues and elevate for maintenance.
• Conduct manual and autonomous flight tests following standard validation procedures.
• Document test procedures, results, anomalies, and corrective actions in structured formats.
• Collaborate with maintenance, logistics, and service delivery teams to resolve operational issues.
• Provide on-call technical support for deployed drones and assist field teams with troubleshooting.
• Visit field sites as needed for drone health checks and maintenance activities.
• Conduct component-level validation tests, including integration, calibration, and functional checks.
• Track and coordinate the movement of drones, spares, and accessories; update delivery statuses and flag delays.
