Job summary

TechnipFMC in Hyderabad, India, seeks a Mechanical engineering candidate to perform quality checks on Supplier/Internal manufacturing records to ensure shipments meet engineering and project requirements.

You will identify discrepancies in technical specs and drawings, drive non-conformance reports through SAP/Intelex, and collaborate with supplier quality, procurement, engineering, and project teams to resolve quality issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Engineering (Mechanical).
• 0‑2 years of experience.
• Basic understanding of engineering practices, manufacturing processes & material engineering.
• Ability to read and interpret technical & project requirements.
• Ability to read/interpret the Supplier/Internal manufacturing record.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality checks of Supplier/Internal manufacturing records to authorize shipment according to engineering & project requirements.
• Communicate non-conformance findings to internal & external stakeholders and record them in SAP/Intelex.
• Drive supplier/internal non-conformances report creation, coordination, and closure through SAP/Intelex.
• Work with subject‑matter experts, projects & clients to obtain pre‑manufacturing record approval through eSMDR tool & SAP.
• Use SAP/ECM and database systems to create or modify quality notifications, and upload/download documents via the SAP platform.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams such as Supplier Quality, Procurement, Engineering, manufacturing & Project departments to communicate, expedite & resolve quality‑related problems.
• May participate in identifying engineering requirement errors.
• May participate in process standardization activities.
• May support improvement projects.
• May participate in NRB meetings.

Job Purpose

• Ensure the highest level of quality in our products by performing quality checks of the Supplier/Internal manufacturing records according to engineering & project requirements.
