Job summary

Staples India invites interns to join the Business Innovation Hub for hands-on exposure to cloud, AI, and technology-driven projects in Tamil Nadu. You will contribute to technical input, analyze requirements, and collaborate with faculty, researchers, and peers.

Currently pursuing BE/B.Tech in CS/IT/ECE/Mech/EEE is required with at least one semester remaining. Strong analytical and communication skills, plus comfort with learning new tools, are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing BE/B.Tech in CS/IT/ECE/Mech/EEE or related field.
• At least 1 semester/term remaining after internship.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Basic familiarity with coding, AI, and willingness to learn.
• Effective written and verbal communication for collaboration.
• Ability to work independently and in teams in a full-time setup.
• Enrolment in or completion of a relevant undergraduate program preferred.
• Comfort with productivity and collaboration tools is an advantage.
• Demonstrated interest in research or technology projects.

Responsibilities

• Contributes by leveraging knowledge of business requirements to successfully offer technical input and solution offerings.

• Develops knowledge in intellectual property (IP) and leverages IP to complete assigned project tasks. Communicates areas that need refreshing or gaps in intellectual property.
  


• Identifies issues and risks and engages with customers/partners or internal stakeholders (e.g., Project Managers) as appropriate to address and resolve issues.
  


• Identifies opportunities to expand or accelerate the adoption and consumption of the cloud and AI technologies.

• Basic familiarity with coding, AI and or willingness to learn under guidance.
  


• Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with faculty, researchers, and peers.
  


• Ability to work both independently and in teams, manage time well, and meet agreed timelines in a full-time setup.
  


• Enrolment in or completion of a relevant undergraduate program (such as Computer Science, Engineering, Sciences, or related fields) is preferred.
  


• Comfort with using common productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., office suites, online communication platforms, version control or shared document tools) is an advantage.
  


• Demonstrated interest in research, technology development, or academic projects through coursework, personal projects, or prior internships is beneficial.
