Job summary

Acclime is seeking an Intermediate & Senior Tax Accountant to join our Business Advisory team in Pune (Viman Nagar) on-site. You will prepare statutory accounts, income tax returns, BAS/ Instalment Activity Statements, and support management reporting.

You should have 2+ years of taxation experience, with exposure to Australian taxation preferred. Immediate joiners are preferred and you will work with a dynamic client portfolio, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of taxation experience.
• Exposure to Australian taxation preferred.
• Onsite role at Viman Nagar, Pune.
• Immediate joiners preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare statutory accounts with working papers.
• Prepare income tax returns and FBT returns.
• Prepare BAS and Instalment Activity Statements.
• Manage reporting obligations and budgets.
• Ensure timely completion of financial statements and tax returns.
• Respond to client enquiries and manage WIP and billing.
• Supervise junior staff and meet deadlines.

Role: Intermediate & Senior Tax Accountant Business Advisory

Key responsibilities

• Preparation of statutory accounts, including all associated working papers and supporting documentation.
• Preparation of income tax returns, fringe benefits tax returns;
• Preparation of Business Activity Statements and Instalment Activity Statements;
• Managing reporting obligations;
• Management accounting;
• Working to a budget and ensuring completion of all work in a timely, efficient and cost effective manner.
• Manage and respond to all client enquiries in a timely manner.
• Assisting with management of the tax lodgement program.
• Timely and accurate completion of financial statements, tax returns, and other reporting obligations for all assigned clients.
• Consistent management of Work in Progress and billing processes, ensuring that client portfolios are efficiently handled and revenue targets are met.
• Responsiveness to client inquiries, maintaining high levels of client satisfaction and identifying opportunities to add value.
• Effective delegation and supervision of subordinate staff, demonstrated by meeting workflow deadlines and positive staff development outcomes.

Preferred candidate profile

• Australian Or any foreign Accounting & Taxation Exp Preferred.
• Candidate must have 2+ Years of exp in Taxation.
