Job summary

WSP India is seeking a seasoned AI/Digital Transformation consultant to design and deliver AI-enabled solutions for clients across engineering and infrastructure domains. You will collaborate with project teams and client stakeholders to identify use cases, define roadmaps, and ensure secure, governance-aligned deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field.
• 3–5 years of AI, digital transformation, data analytics, or tech-enabled consulting experience.
• Hands-on with generative AI tools, LLMs, prompt engineering, and automation.
• Experience across AI solution lifecycle from problem definition to deployment and adoption.
• Strong communication and stakeholder facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

Job description

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end design and implementation of AI/ML solutions for clients, from problem definition and solution design to deployment and post implementation support.
• Work with project teams and client stakeholders to understand business challenges, identify AI use cases, and define practical roadmaps, success measures, and delivery approaches.
• Oversee technical architecture and integration of AI and digital solutions with clients’ existing systems, data platforms, and security/governance requirements.
• Lead or support rapid prototyping of AI-enabled use cases, including generative AI, Agentic AI, automation, knowledge search, analytics, natural language processing, and digital workflow improvement, and convert successful prototypes into scalable solutions.
• Help the Digital Advisory team adopt AI tools and improved ways of working, including Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, automation tools, and other approved enterprise AI platforms.
• Develop reusable assets for AI and digital delivery, such as prompt libraries, templates, playbooks, governance checklists, use case qualification frameworks, and proposal content.
• Collaborate with technical specialists and cross functional teams to translate complex engineering, infrastructure, environmental, asset management, and smart city requirements into workable digital and AI solutions.
• Contribute to proposals, client presentations, demonstrations, proof-of-concept scopes, and bid responses, with clear articulation of AI and digital value propositions.
• Apply responsible AI, data governance, privacy, cyber security, and quality considerations when shaping solutions, prototypes, and recommendations.
• Stay up to date with emerging AI and digital tools, trends, and industry applications, and recommend practical opportunities to strengthen the team’s services and delivery efficiency.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Digital Transformation, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
• Approximately 3 to 5 years of experience in AI, digital transformation, data analytics, solution design, or technology-enabled consulting, ideally within an engineering, infrastructure, built environment, or advisory context.
• Strong practical knowledge of AI tools and applications, including generative AI tools, Agentic AI, large language models, prompt engineering, workflow automation, and AI-enabled productivity platforms.
• Hands‑on experience supporting the AI solution lifecycle and components, with end to end understanding including problem definition, data assessment, prototyping, testing, deployment planning, adoption, and continuous improvement.
• Understanding of data‑driven solution design, including data preparation, analytics, dashboards, model evaluation, integration considerations, and responsible use of AI outputs.
• Experience with common digital and AI platforms or languages, such as Python, Power BI, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, Azure AI services, cloud AI services, low‑code/no‑code tools, or equivalent platforms.
• Ability to translate business problems into clear technical and functional requirements, while explaining technical concepts in simple, practical business language.
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and documentation skills, with confidence supporting workshops, client‑facing discussions, and internal capability‑building sessions.
• Consulting mindset, with the ability to work across multiple sectors and adapt AI and digital solutions to different client and project contexts.
• High level of curiosity, initiative, and ownership, with a strong interest in helping the team transform how it works through practical, safe, and value‑focused AI adoption.
