Job summary

CFO Foresight is seeking an Inter CA with a strong mix of accounting, finance, analytics and client-handling skills in Ahmedabad. You will work with the senior finance team on Virtual CFO assignments, MIS reporting, financial analysis, budgeting, cash-flow management and client advisory.

The role requires 1–3 years of experience and CA Intermediate / Inter CA qualification, with CA Articleship experience preferred.

Qualifications

• CA Intermediate / Inter CA qualification with articleship experience preferred.
• Experience in financial analysis, MIS reporting and budgeting is expected.
• Exposure to Virtual CFO or finance advisory work is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze MIS reports, financial statements and dashboards.
• Analyze P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements for insights.
• Support cash-flow forecasting and working-capital analysis.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting and financial projections.
• Develop financial models and provide client advisory support.

About the Role

We are looking for an Inter CA with a strong combination of accounting, finance, analytical and client-handling skills.

The candidate will work closely with the senior finance team on Virtual CFO assignments, MIS reporting, financial analysis, accounting review, budgeting, cash-flow management, financial modelling and client advisory.

This role is suitable for someone who wants to build a career beyond traditional accounting and develop strong finance, analytical, technology and CFO-level business skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse MIS reports, financial statements and management dashboards.
• Analyse P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements.
• Identify financial trends, gaps, risks and areas for improvement.
• Support cash-flow forecasting and working-capital analysis.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting and financial projections.
• Perform profitability, cost and variance analysis.
• Prepare financial reports and presentations for management and clients.
• Support Virtual CFO assignments for MSME clients.
• Review accounting data and financial information for accuracy and completeness.
• Support accounting, taxation, statutory and compliance-related activities wherever required.
• Coordinate with clients to collect financial data and understand business requirements.
• Assist senior team members in developing financial strategies and business recommendations.
• Prepare and maintain Excel-based financial models and analysis.
• Work with large financial datasets and identify useful business insights.
• Improve and streamline financial reporting and MIS processes.
• Support automation and technology-driven financial reporting wherever required.
• Use advanced Excel functions, Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, charts and other analytical tools.
• Maintain proper financial documentation and ensure timely reporting.
• Manage multiple client assignments and meet deadlines.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of Accounting and Financial Statements.
• Good knowledge of Financial Analysis and MIS Reporting.
• Strong MS Excel skills.
• Understanding of Cash Flow, Working Capital and Budgeting.
• Knowledge of financial modelling and forecasting.
• Good understanding of GST, TDS and basic taxation concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good client coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to work with financial data and identify business insights.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
• Knowledge of Tally / accounting software.
• Exposure to Power BI, ERP, financial reporting tools or finance automation will be an added advantage.

Qualification & Preferred Experience

• CA Intermediate / Inter CA.
• Candidates pursuing CA are preferred.
• CA Articleship experience will be an added advantage.
• Experience in a CA firm, Virtual CFO, finance advisory, accounting or financial services environment will be preferred.
