Job summary

Bhartiya Design Party is seeking a hands-on Senior Site Supervisor to oversee interior fit-out and interior architectural works across multiple project sites.

You will own site execution from approved drawings, coordinate trades, check quality, and ensure on-time delivery while collaborating with designers, architects and furniture teams.

The role demands proactive problem solving, strong documentation, and travel to sites as required, with growth into project management responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience supervising interior fit-out / interior architectural projects.
• Strong practical understanding of interior construction, finishing and execution methods.
• Experience across residential, hospitality, F&B, retail and/or office interiors is preferred.
• Must be comfortable reading AutoCAD/GFC drawings and detailed construction drawings.
• Good understanding of materials, joinery, hardware, furniture, finishes and site measurements.
• Ability to independently manage contractors and multiple agencies on site.
• Strong eye for quality, detailing and finishing.
• Should be proactive-we need someone who identifies problems early and follows them through to closure.
• Comfortable coordinating with designers, architects, project managers, furniture teams, contractors and vendors.
• Good communication, documentation and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day interior fit-out and interior architectural works across BDP project sites.
• Take ownership of site execution as per approved drawings, GFCs, specifications, BOQs and design intent.
• Coordinate civil, masonry, flooring, ceiling, partition, painting, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and other interior finishing works.
• Supervise carpentry, fixed furniture, panelling, millwork, stone, metal, glass and specialised finishes.
• Read and understand architectural/interior drawings, details, sections, elevations and services drawings.
• Coordinate contractors, vendors, labour teams and BDPs design/project teams for smooth execution.
• Conduct regular quality checks, measurements and workmanship inspections before accepting completed work.
• Maintain daily site progress and proactively identify delays, clashes, missing information and execution issues.
• Check material deliveries against approved specifications, samples and quantities.
• Coordinate site measurements with the furniture/manufacturing team before production.
• Maintain site records, progress photographs, material requirements, contractor updates and pending-work lists.
• Ensure proper sequencing of different agencies to minimise rework and delays.
• Prepare and close snag lists and ensure the project is finished to the required quality before handover.
• Maintain site discipline, cleanliness, material protection and basic safety standards.
• Escalate deviations from drawings, additional works or design changes before execution rather than making assumptions on site.
• Be willing to travel to project sites when required.
