The designer is responsible for understanding client requirements through detailed design consultations, developing customized modular solutions, preparing quotations and cost estimates using the software, and delivering functional, aesthetically appealing, and client-centric designs. The role requires strong design knowledge, effective communication skills, and ability to translate client requirements into practical design concepts.
Key Responsibilities
1. Client Consultation & Requirement Analysis
- Meet the client to understand their lifestyle, functional requirements, design preferences, budget, and project expectations.
- Conduct detailed design consultations to gather all information required for preparing customized design solutions.
- Provide professional design guidance and recommendations based on client requirements and industry best practices.
2. Design Development
- Develop creative, functional, and space-efficient modular designs using the software.
- Prepare 2D/3D design concepts and layouts for client presentations.
- Revise and refine designs based on client feedback while ensuring technical feasibility and organization standards.
3. Quotations & Cost Estimations
- Generate project quotations and cost estimates using the software.
- Ensure accuracy of quotations and estimates before sharing them with clients through the sales team or during design discussions.
4. Design Documentation
- Maintain project drawing, design files, quotations, and revised records.
- Ensure proper documentation of approved designs and client requirements.
5. Software & Design Excellence
- Utilize the software effectively for design development & quotation preparation.
- Apply AutoCAD knowledge whenever required.
- Stay updated with current trends in modular kitchens, materials, finishes, and residential interior design.
Technical Skills Required
- Knowledge of modular planning and designing.
- Space planning and furniture layout skills.
- Willingness to learn and work on the organizations design software.
