Job summary

Asian Paints in Mumbai seeks a design specialist to create concept and execution-ready designs for modular kitchens, wardrobes, and related interiors. You will develop space planning, layouts, elevations, 3D designs, and working drawings per client needs, ensuring alignment with standards and manufacturing feasibility.

You will collaborate with production and installation teams, stay updated with trends, and balance aesthetics with cost-effectiveness while meeting project timelines.

• Ability to prepare working drawings aligned with modular standards.

Responsibilities

• Create concept, detailed, and execution-ready designs for modular kitchens, wardrobes, and related modular interior solutions.
• Develop space planning, layouts, elevations, 3D designs, and working drawings as per client requirements.
• Ensure designs are aligned with modular standards, material specifications, hardware compatibility, and manufacturing feasibility.
• Collaborate closely with production, execution, and installation teams to ensure design accuracy and smooth handover.
• Stay updated with latest modular trends, materials, fittings, finishes, and space-optimisation techniques.
• Value engineer designs to balance aesthetics, functionality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
• Conduct design discussions and presentations with clients to understand requirements and propose suitable solutions.
• Generate leads and support the sales team during design-based closures, including design walkthroughs and clarifications.
• Handle design-related queries during the sales process and assist in closing deals through strong design propositions.
• Coordinate with customers for design approvals, revisions, and final sign-offs.
