Job summary

WeHyre India is seeking an Interior Designer to work on-site in Bengaluru East in a full-time capacity. You will collaborate with clients and project teams to design functional, aesthetically pleasing interiors, selecting materials, finishes, furniture, and fixtures.

The role involves coordinating with vendors and contractors, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely delivery within budget and specifications, while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders throughout the project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
• Strong space planning and aesthetic sense
• Experience coordinating with vendors, contractors, and suppliers
• Proficient in interior design software and producing detailed drawings
• Excellent client-facing communication and presentation skills
• Familiarity with design standards, building codes, and site execution practices
• Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru East and collaborate across teams
• Portfolio of completed interior projects preferred

Responsibilities include understanding client requirements, developing design concepts, preparing detailed drawings and layouts, and selecting materials, finishes, furniture, and fixtures. The role involves coordinating with vendors and contractors, monitoring project progress, and ensuring designs are executed according to specifications, budget, and timelines. The Interior Designer will also support site visits, quality checks, and final handover, while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications

• Proficiency in interior design tools and software (such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and the ability to create detailed drawings and 3D visualizations.
• Strong space planning, aesthetic sense, and knowledge of materials, finishes, lighting, and furniture selection.
• Experience in project coordination, including working with vendors, contractors, and suppliers, and managing timelines and budgets.
• Effective client-facing skills, including requirement gathering, presentation of concepts, and clear written and verbal communication.
• Understanding of design standards, building codes, and basic site execution practices relevant to interior projects.
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru East, with strong collaboration skills and a focus on delivering high-quality, practical design solutions.
• Prior experience in residential, commercial, or office interiors is preferred; a portfolio demonstrating completed projects will be an advantage.
