Job summary

Wood Be Done is seeking an Interior Design Project Manager to lead on-site interior projects from concept to handover in Hyderabad. You will translate final designs into actionable execution plans and assign tasks to each tradesperson across sites, while maintaining clear client communication.

The ideal candidate has strong space planning and project management skills, with experience interpreting construction drawings and coordinating furniture design and manufacturing.

Wood Be Done is a full-service interior design firm where apart from the designing, all the execution also happens in-house, meaning, all the modular furniture gets manufactured in our own factory, all the site supervisors, project managers, carpenters and electricians also are our full time employees.

Role Description

The Interior Design Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad, responsible for overseeing interior projects from initial concept to final handover. You are required to look at the final designs, make sense of the technical drawings and the make a detailed execution plan, wall by wall, room by room, clearly defining the tasks of every single workman who would be working at every single site. You also are required to communicate the progress of the site to the clients on a regular basis.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Space Planning and Interior Design, with the ability to develop functional, aesthetic layouts aligned with minimalist design principles.
• Proficiency in Project Management, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination of multidisciplinary teams and vendors.
• Ability to review, and interpret Construction Drawings, with attention to technical accuracy and execution feasibility.
• Experience working with Furniture design, customization, and manufacturing coordination for residential and professional spaces.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is a plus.
• Strong communication and client management skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and manage expectations.
• Proven experience in managing interior projects on-site, including vendor coordination and quality control.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple projects, and maintain high standards under deadlines.
