Qualifications

• Masters or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, ECE, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of C/C++ and object-oriented design.
• Experience with real-time embedded software and device drivers.
• Good understanding of OS concepts and data structures.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software for Qualcomm’s mobile chipsets using cutting-edge technology.
• Multimedia technologies such as audio/video codecs and image processing.
• Wireless modem technologies including 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth, and SO N.
• Platform level software such as Linux, Android, Windows, and BSPs.
• IoT technologies for connected devices like cameras, smart assistants, drones, VR/AR.

As a software engineer, you will design and develop software for Qualcomm’s mobile chipsets using cutting‑edge technology.

Responsibilities

• Multimedia Technologies such as Audio and Video codecs, Image Processing.
• Wireless Modem Technologies such as 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth, Self‑Organizing Networks.
• Platform Level Software such as Linux, Android, Windows, Board Support Packages.
• IOT Technologies for Connected Cameras, Smart Assistants, Drones, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality.

Campus graduates will work on the following areas:

• Development of real‑time embedded software and device drivers.
• Mobile software development for Windows Mobile, Android or Linux.
• Good understanding of OS concepts, data structures, etc.
• C/C++ and object oriented design.
• Wireless network standards such as CDMA, GSM, UMTS, LTE.
• Linux/UNIX, Linux Drivers, Linux Kernel Development.
• Protocols such as TCP/UDP/IP/SIP/RTP, etc.
