Job summary

ELLKAY in India is seeking an Interface Analyst to lead complex interoperability projects across EMR/EHR systems, laboratories, providers, and vendors. You will be the primary functional expert and customer liaison, driving interface implementations and resolving integration challenges.

The role demands strong knowledge of healthcare interoperability, stakeholder management, and the ability to independently juggle multiple high‑priority projects while ensuring seamless data exchange and thorough

Qualifications

• Experience interfacing between different systems is preferred.
• Experience with HL7, XML and CSV data formats.
• Experience with EMR vendors and labs on connectivity projects.
• Knowledge of networking and connectivity (VPN, SFTP, TCP-IP).
• Strong organization, planning and risk management abilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication; professional with all levels.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of healthcare data and workflow is a plus.

Job Description

The Interface Analyst is responsible for leading complex healthcare interoperability and connectivity projects involving EMR/EHR systems, laboratories, healthcare providers, and third‑party vendors. This role serves as the primary functional expert and customer liaison, driving successful interface implementations, troubleshooting integration challenges, and ensuring seamless exchange of healthcare data. The ideal candidate possesses strong knowledge of healthcare interoperability, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and the ability to independently manage multiple high‑priority projects.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Install and configure proprietary software solutions remotely
• Plan and schedule project timelines
• Serve as primary point of contact for all project communication, both oral and written
• Communicate to all key stakeholders on progress in a timely manner throughout the entire project life cycle
• Set and manage appropriate expectations
• Create and maintain accurate documentation for each project
• Provide support as necessary for existing HL7 Interfaces

Qualifications

• Experience with interfacing between different systems strongly preferred
• Experience working with different data formats (e.g., HL7, XML, CSV, etc.)
• Experience working with different EMR vendors and/or Labs on connectivity projects
• Knowledge of basic networking and different connectivity solutions (e.g., VPN, SFTP, TCP‑IP, etc.)
• Demonstrated organization and planning abilities
• Strong critical thinking andproblem solvingskills
