This is a key role responsible for leading and coordinating the accounting projects and serving as a partner to divisions and functions across the company.

What You Will Do
  • Lead and develop a 12+ member Intercompany accounting team delivering end‑to‑end RTR IC activities.
  • Oversee end‑to‑end Intercompany operations, ensuring delivery against SLAs, KPIs, staffing, capacity, financial, and operational targets.
  • Drive clearance of aged and open Intercompany items while maintaining high‑quality reconciliations and SOX compliance.
  • Ensure strong governance over reconciliation quality, controls, and documentation standards.
  • Provide hands‑on guidance and support to help team members achieve performance and delivery goals.
  • Demonstrate strong end‑to‑end understanding of Intercompany processes and accounting flows such as CIT, GIT, Markup.
  • Maintain effective stakeholder management to resolve issues and ensure business alignment.
  • Collaborate and support peers to ensure overall team success and continuity of operations.
  • Drive timely execution of RTR Intercompany processes, transitions, and accounting implementation projects as per company timelines.
  • Plan, coordinate, and prioritize team activities to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient process execution.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including controllers and corporate functions.
  • Govern preparation, review, and monitoring of KPIs and SLAs to ensure service transparency and business alignment.
  • Manage team capacity and resources including leaves, vacations, attrition, and hiring support to ensure business continuity.
  • Coach, mentor, and train team members to strengthen technical capability and promote a performance‑driven culture.
  • Set clear performance goals, conduct regular reviews, and provide structured feedback to drive outcomes.
  • Identify, analyze, document, and improve Intercompany processes to enhance efficiency, control, and scalability.
  • Proactively detect improvement opportunities and initiate optimization, automation, or transformation projects.
  • Support resolution of complex or out‑of‑policy issues through guidance, decision‑making, and escalation.
  • Participate in development, review, and maintenance of SOPs, desktop procedures, policies, and narratives.
  • Ensure effective knowledge management through documentation, updates, and cross‑training initiatives.
  • Identify high‑potential talent and develop succession strategies to ensure leadership continuity.
  • Support audit readiness and provide required support during internal and external audits.
  • Assist staff to resolve complex or out of policy operation problems.
  • Own day‑to‑day operational decisions within Intercompany processes and elevate exceptions with clear recommendations
  • Act as first‑line control owner for Intercompany reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis in line with SOX requirements.
  • Drive continuous reduction in aged Intercompany balances and audit observations.
  • Work on succession plans (detect potential candidates and develop strategies).
  • Support knowledge management activities by identifying and updating knowledge as requested and required.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Degree in accounting or finance and eight or more years of significant work experience with at least one year of supervisory experience.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles.
  • Understanding of internal controls over financial reporting (i.e Sox)
  • Knowledge of SAP (GL, CO, BI) and clear understanding of Intercompany Process and financial accounting processes, incl. US GAAP.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Excel, Word and Outlook software.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with fluency in English.
