Job summary

Aavishkaar Capital is seeking an investment professional to join its Credit Fund in India. You will lead investment analysis, financial modelling, and credit evaluation for growth-oriented SMEs and B2B ventures in the Global South.

You will prepare investment memos, drive transaction execution with legal and due diligence partners, and monitor portfolio performance while supporting fundraising and investor engagements.

Qualifications

• Qualified CA or MBA
• 5–9 years of relevant experience in Credit Funds, NBFCs, Banks, or Credit Investing
• Strong financial modelling, transaction execution, and credit analysis skills
• Understanding of Indian SME businesses and industries
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The position is for Aavishkaar’s Credit Fund which provides Credit (Debt) facilities to performing profitable SMEs as also scaled up B2B ventures in the export value chains for growth capital. It’s an ESG led fund and supports sustainable practises for driving commercial returns.

Role Description:

As part of the team, you will play a key role across the investment lifecycle from deal sourcing and credit evaluation to transaction execution and portfolio monitoring while working closely with Partners to support investments in high-growth SMEs and B2B enterprises across the Global South.
