Job summary

Quest Global in Bengaluru, India, is seeking a motivated engineer to support corrosion monitoring and integrity programs in upstream and processing environments.

You will assist in IOW/RBI planning, cathodic protection oversight, coatings, and RCFA under senior guidance; a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, chemical, materials, or metallurgical engineering and 0.5–1 year of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Materials, or Metallurgical Engineering.
• 0.5 to 1 year work experience in upstream, midstream, downstream, or heavy processing plants.

Responsibilities

• Corrosion Monitoring: Track data from probes, coupons, and inspection reports to spot system trends.
• Integrity Management: Build and update IOW, RBI plans, and remaining life assessments.
• Mitigation Design: Oversee cathodic protection, protective coatings, and chemical injection systems.
• Failure Analysis: Lead RCFA for material failures and recommend fixes.

Key Responsibilities

• Corrosion Monitoring: Track data from probes, coupons, and inspection reports to spot system trends.
• Integrity Management: Build and update Integrity Operating Windows (IOW), Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) plans, and remaining life assessments.
• Mitigation Design: Oversee cathodic protection, protective coatings, and chemical injection systems.
• Failure Analysis: Lead Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) for material breakdowns and recommend fixes

Work Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Materials, or Metallurgical Engineering
