Qualifications

• 3+ years in integration development or related role.
• Experience in logistics or supply chain preferred.
• Proficiency with Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Service Bus, Functions).
• Understanding of EDIFACT/X12 EDI standards and protocols (AS2, SFTP).
• REST/SOAP API design and usage; Git workflows; basic IaC concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain integrations using Azure Integration Services.
• Build and support B2B integrations with external partners using EDIFACT/X12 and AS2/SFTP.
• Develop event-driven integrations and APIs for internal/external consumption via Azure API Management.
• Collaborate with analysts to translate integration requirements into technical solutions.
• Onboard new trading partners and manage partner configurations in Integration Accounts.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve integration issues; ensure SLAs.
• Document integration flows and runbooks; contribute to CI/CD pipelines.

About the Role

As an Integration Engineer at Stolt-Nielsen, you will design, build and maintain the integrations that connect our business applications, trading partners and operational systems. Across our businesses, we are actively modernizing our integration landscape to support our growing logistics operations — connecting ERP systems, vessel planning tools, port agents, customers, and external partners through reliable B2B and application-to-application messaging.

A large part of the role involves B2B integrations in the logistics domain: working with EDI standards such as EDIFACT and X12, managing partner onboarding, and ensuring reliable document exchange (e.g., booking confirmations, bills of lading, invoices). You will also build event-driven integrations between our internal applications using Azure Integration Services.

You will be part of a global business-led product team that operates with a DevOps mentality. It is a collaborative, diverse, fast-paced environment. The role is hands‑on and requires autonomy, a problem‑solving mindset, and a willingness to learn the logistics domain in depth.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop and maintain integrations using Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management, Functions, Event Hub, Integration Accounts).
• Build and support B2B integrations with external partners using EDI standards (EDIFACT, X12) and protocols (AS2, SFTP).
• Implement event-driven, inter-application integrations following publish/subscribe and message-based patterns.
• Develop and manage APIs (REST, SOAP) for internal and external consumption via Azure API Management.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate integration requirements into technical solutions.
• Onboard new trading partners: configure schemas, maps, agreements and trading partner profiles in Integration Accounts.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve integration issues across the platform; ensure SLAs are met.
• Write and maintain clear documentation for integration flows, partner configurations and runbooks.
• Collaborate with DevOps engineers to implement CI/CD pipelines for integration deployments.
• Perform additional duties and strategic projects as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in integration development or a related role.
• Experience working in the logistics, shipping, or supply chain industry is strongly preferred.
• Solid experience with Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Service Bus, Functions).
• Working knowledge of B2B/EDI standards (EDIFACT, X12) and communication protocols (AS2, SFTP).
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (C#, Python or similar).
• Understanding of event-driven architecture and messaging patterns (pub/sub, queues, topics).
• Familiarity with REST and SOAP API design and consumption.
• Experience with Git-based workflows and basic CI/CD concepts.
• Strong analytical thinking and collaborative problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and documentation abilities.
