Job summary

Lonza Group Ltd. in Hyderabad, India seeks an Integration Engineer to design, implement, support SAP EDI and B2B integrations across global operations. This office-first role offers in-person collaboration with flexibility to work remotely up to 20% of time.

You will collaborate with business stakeholders, application teams, and vendors to deliver scalable integration solutions, monitor EDI transactions, and support system upgrades and deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience implementing SAP EDI and B2B integrations in a global enterprise.
• Strong understanding of EDI standards and SAP middleware technologies.

Integration Engineer – SAP EDI & B2B Integrations Hyderabad, India Join Lonza's global digital and enterprise technology team and play a key role in enabling seamless business-to-business integrations across our global operations. This is an exciting opportunity to design, support, and enhance SAP EDI and B2B integration solutions that help deliver life-changing therapies to patients worldwide. This is an office-first role. Working together in person supports close, real-time collaboration and team alignment, enabling us to deliver our best work. You will work primarily in the office, with the flexibility to work remotely for 20% of your time (one day per week).

What you will do

• Design, implement, support, and enhance SAP EDI and B2B integration solutions that enable seamless communication with customers, suppliers, and business partners.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, application teams, external partners, and vendors to understand integration requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot EDI transactions, ensuring timely resolution of issues and minimal disruption to business operations.
• Support integrations across SAP and non-SAP systems using established middleware and B2B communication standards.
• Participate in system upgrades, testing activities, and deployment initiatives to maintain stable and compliant integration environments.
• Contribute to integration architecture, technical documentation, and best practice development across the organization.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, reliability, and operational excellence within the integration landscape.

What we are looking for

• Experience supporting and developing SAP EDI and B2B integration solutions within a global enterprise environment.
• Strong understanding of EDI standards such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML, IDoc, and related integration concepts.
• Experience working with SAP integration technologies and middleware platforms.
• Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex integration and data exchange issues.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across global teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• A proactive, collaborative mindset with a commitment to quality, continuous improvement, and customer-focused delivery.
