Job summary

Infosys is seeking a highly experienced Integration & API Architect to define and govern enterprise-wide integration standards and reusable APIs. The role focuses on API-first design, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native solutions across ERP, PLM, CRM, and Supply Chain ecosystems.

You will collaborate with business and technology stakeholders, mentor architects, and drive modernization and digital transformation programs with a focus on secure API governance and scalable middleware.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT experience with 5-7 years in Enterprise Integration Architecture and Digital Architecture.
• Proven track record leading enterprise-scale integration programs across ERP, PLM, CRM, Data Platforms, Supply Chain, and Digital Solutions.
• Strong expertise in MuleSoft, Boomi, Azure Integration Services, Kafka, Event Hub, or equivalent technologies.
• Hands-on experience with API Management, API Lifecycle Management, Microservices Architecture, and Event-Driven Design.
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms, data architecture, and system integration patterns.
• Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD), CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Integration Automation.
• Familiarity with SAP LeanIX or similar EA tools is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive enterprise integration architecture, API-first design, event-driven architectures, and digital platform enablement initiatives.
• Define, govern, and maintain enterprise-wide integration architecture standards, reference architectures, reusable APIs, and integration patterns.
• Act as the architecture authority for APIs, ESB, middleware, microservices, and enterprise integration solutions.
• Design scalable, secure, and cloud-native integration solutions aligned with enterprise architecture principles.
• Partner with stakeholders across ERP, R&D, Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, and Digital Product teams to enable system interoperability.
• Develop reusable integration assets including APIs, connectors, adapters, event schemas, and accelerators.
• Support modernization, rationalization, and cloud migration initiatives through robust integration strategies.
• Guide solution architects and engineering teams on modern integration technologies and best practices.
• Drive architecture reviews, technology assessments, and governance across integration and digital transformation programs.

Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced Integration & API Architect to drive enterprise-wide integration architecture, API-first strategies, and digital platform enablement initiatives. The role will be responsible for defining integration standards, establishing reusable architecture patterns, and enabling seamless interoperability across enterprise business domains including ERP, PLM, CRM, R&D, Supply Chain, Sales, and Marketing systems.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in modern integration technologies, event-driven architectures, API management, cloud-native platforms, and enterprise-scale transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and drive enterprise integration architecture, API-first design principles, event-driven architectures, and digital platform enablement initiatives.
• Define, govern, and maintain enterprise-wide integration architecture standards, reference architectures, reusable APIs, middleware frameworks, and integration patterns.
• Act as the architecture authority for APIs, ESB, middleware, microservices, and enterprise integration solutions.
• Design scalable, secure, and cloud-native integration solutions aligned with enterprise architecture principles.
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders across ERP, R&D, Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, and Digital Product teams to enable seamless system interoperability.
• Create sustainable integration strategies and target-state architectures for large-scale programs and business transformation initiatives.
• Leverage SAP LeanIX to document application interfaces, integration landscapes, architecture blueprints, and lineage across enterprise systems.
• Develop and curate reusable integration assets including APIs, connectors, adapters, event schemas, and integration accelerators.
• Support application modernization, rationalization, and cloud migration initiatives through robust integration strategies.
• Ensure adherence to API-first, modular, event-driven, and cloud-native architecture principles.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity teams to establish secure API governance, data exchange standards, authentication, authorization, and integration security controls.
• Guide and mentor solution architects, integration architects, and engineering teams on modern integration technologies, architecture patterns, and best practices.
• Drive architecture reviews, technology assessments, and governance activities across integration and digital transformation programs.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 10+ years of overall IT experience, including 5-7 years of experience in Enterprise Integration Architecture and Digital Architecture.
• Proven experience leading enterprise-scale integration programs involving ERP, PLM, CRM, Data Platforms, Supply Chain, and Digital Solutions.
• Strong expertise in integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, Azure Integration Services, Kafka, Event Hub, or equivalent technologies.
• Hands-on experience with API Management, API Lifecycle Management, Microservices Architecture, and Event-Driven Design.
• Strong understanding of enterprise applications, cloud platforms, data architecture, and system integration patterns.
• Experience designing and implementing scalable middleware and enterprise integration solutions.
• Understanding of cross-functional business processes and digital product ecosystems.
• Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD), CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Integration Automation.
• Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture tools such as SAP LeanIX is highly preferred.
